SaaStr Postpones Annual Conference as County Officials Discourage Large Gatherings – SaaStr, the venture firm that puts on the largest conference for SaaS companies, postponed its SaaStr Annual 2020 conference today amid concerns from local and national officials around large gatherings in light of the COVID-19 virus. The event was scheduled to take place next week.

How the Coronavirus is Disrupting the Advertising Industry – Agencies are finding that, just maybe, people working from home isn’t necessarily a bad thing and could be beneficial in the future. Production, long the bastion of high-wire acts to get creative work done, are forging ahead and are pivoting where needed. Experiential agencies and brands that rely on the tactic may be in for the bumpiest ride. But even then, if it’s a relative blip in the industry’s continuum, it could come roaring back or adjust to a new, more digital reality.
